Cops have busted a suspect in the slaying of a man found butchered in his home earlier this week.

Malcolm Bryant, 30, of Flatlands; Brooklyn, is charged in the killing of 33-year-old Sherod Watford, who lived on Ave. M a half-mile away from Bryant’s home.

A family member found Watford unconscious in his home at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

Watford had been stabbed and slashed multiple times, said cops. His injuries included puncture wounds to his chest and cuts on his body.

Watford, a father of twin pre-teen daughters, had just started a new job. His hysterical grandmother discovered his body in the house they shared for 20 years, neighbors said.

Cops spotted Bryant in video taken in the neighborhood at the time of the killing.

It wasn’t clear Friday what sparked the murder, authorities said.

Bryant was held Friday night at the 63rd precinct, and is charged with murder, cops said
