Tyler Hamm was allegedly trying to make a jump in the terrain area of the Snowmass Mountain Resort around 11 a.m., according to the Aspen Times.

“Patrol responded immediately and found the man unresponsive with no pulse or breathing,” Aspen Skiing Co. spokesman Jeff Hanle told the Times. “They began advanced life-saving procedures. They were unable to re-establish a pulse and the man was pronounced dead by the Pitkin County Coroner.”

“Our deepest sympathies and thoughts go out to the man’s family and friends, and we are offering support and assistance,” he continued.

The Makaha Terrain Park allegedly closed Sunday as officials investigated. His cause of death was still under investigation Monday.

Hamm, of Snowmass Village, moved to Colorado in 2017, the Times reported. He was originally from Charlotte, N.C.
