Cocaine found in 4-year-old after she passed out at school, mom admits to letting friend sell drugs from her home

A Kentucky mom has been arrested after her preschool-aged daughter was found with cocaine in her system.

The 4-year-old girl was taken to Clark Regional Medical Center on Thursday after she passed out at school, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader. The girl tested positive for cocaine at the hospital and her mom was charged with two counts of criminal abuse.

The girl's mother, Anniquta Wright, told cops she let a friend sell cocaine out of her home while her kids were present. Her 2-year-old son also tested positive for cocaine.

The mother, 31-year-old Anniquta Wright of Winchester in Clark County, told cops she let a friend sell cocaine out of her home while her kids were present. Wright’s 2-year-old son also tested positive for cocaine.

“Wright admitted that the kids would even sit at the table with the friend,” police records state, according to the Herald-Leader.

Wright’s record at the Clark County Detention Center also states she’s a fugitive from another state.
