Some poor unfortunate soul’s head is going to roll for this Disneyland malfunction.
Thanks to the sharing capabilities of social media, it was revealed that two Disney theme parks suffered headless robot glitches on opposite sides of the world.
The robotic Ursula from The Little Mermaid ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, lost its head during the ride this past weekend, but the figure continued to move and sing.
The first decapitation happened at Disneyland in California. In the middle of The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, the evil villain Ursula’s head was dangling from her body, attached only by a few wires and cords.
“It’s broken!” a shocked, disembodied voice can be heard saying in a video clip of the broken character.
But she wasn’t the only ride feature to break down at a Disney park.
One of the auctioneers at the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Disneyland Paris also lost his head on Sunday.
The poster knew that flash photography was “forbidden” while sailing through the pirate scenes but decided she had to share the disturbing dangling head anyway.
