Cardi B shared the first public photo of her baby daughter Kulture on Wednesday, hours after revealing her shocking split from husband Offset.
The “I Like It” rapper posted the adorable picture of the 4-month-old infant on Instagram.
“My heart,” she wrote in the caption that ended with a red heart emoji.
The photo followed shortly after the Bronx-born Grammy nominee posted an overnight Instagram video revealing she and her Migos-member hubby had ended their relationship a little more than a year after tying the knot.
She said she was “trying to work things out” with her “babyfather” for a while, but it just wasn’t meant to be.
“We’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners, and you know, he’s always somebody that I run to, to talk to, and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time,” she said in the video.
“It’s nobody’s fault. It’s just like, I guess, we just grew out of love,” she said. “We’re not together anymore.”
She said it “might take time to get a divorce,” but she will always love Offset, “because he is my daughter’s father.”
The hip-hop stars got married in a secret ceremony in September 2017, which Cardi finally confirmed to fans this past June.
“Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other,” Cardi shared on Instagram at the time. “One morning in September we woke up and decided to get married.”
Offset, 26, publicly proposed to the “Bodak Yellow” singer, 26, during a concert in Philadelphia in October 2017, the month after they got married.
Many fans were stunned by the couple’s split, especially considering Cardi gushed over Offset when she brought him onstage during her performance at KISSFM’s Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles on Friday.
