Rapper Bow Wow allegedly took away his girlfriend’s phone and trapped her in a bedroom so she couldn’t call police after he assaulted her, she claimed in a newly released 911 call.
Leslie Holden told 911 that she was calling from her car after the 31-year-old, real name Shad Gregory Moss, beat her last weekend, according to the call obtained by TMZ.
“He said, ‘no one’s going to believe you,’” Holden told the 911 operator.
She also said that police had previously reported to the apartment, but the rapper and two of his friends wouldn’t let her out of a bedroom to speak to officers.
“They wouldn’t let me out the bedroom. They took my phone from me because I called the police the first time,” Holden said. “It was just like a domestic violence. He was just hitting me with his hands.”
It’s unclear when that incident occurred.
In another 911 call, the apartment’s building manager said that another resident that he or she had heard the fight, including a male voice threatening to “slap the f–k out of this b—h.”
Both Holden and Bow Wow were both arrested and charged with battery after he told authorities that she was the one who assaulted him.
