An Arizona man accidentally fired his gun inside a Walmart Tuesday, but thankfully he only hit himself.

The unidentified man was shopping in the meat section of the retail giant in Buckeye, Ariz., with his semiautomatic handgun unholstered in his sweatpants waistband, according to AZ Central.

As the gun started slipping, the man tried to reposition the weapon, and instead accidentally fired it, shooting himself in the groin.

Buckeye Police called it a “self-inflicted accidental shooting” and said he was taken to the hospital.

The man’s condition is currently unknown.

Arizona gun laws are among the most lax in the country, with open carry allowed for anyone over 18. Anyone 21 years of age or older can conceal carry without a permit.
