Cops on Long Island want to know who took off with a 30-pound bronze turtle.
The three-foot statue was swiped from the front of a home on South Road in Westhampton, Suffolk County police said Wednesday.
The large replica of a turtle was taken at some point between March 19 and April 4, officials said. It is green and bronze in color, and is valued at about $800.
Anyone with information about the wayward turtle statue is urged to reach out to the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at (800) 220-TIPS.
