16-year-old teen clinging to life after Brooklyn drive-by shooting

Cops responding to a 10:45 p.m. Thursday call of shots fired found the teen sprawled on the ground on North Portland Ave. outside NYCHA’s Ingersoll Houses in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

A 16-year-old teen is in critical condition after being shot in the head during a Brooklyn drive-by shooting, police said.

Cops responding to a 10:45 p.m. Thursday call of shots fired found the teen sprawled on the ground on North Portland Ave. outside NYCHA’s Ingersoll Houses in Fort Greene, police said.

Someone fired at the teen from a passing grey vehicle, striking him in the head, said police sources.

Police investigate a shooting on North Portland Avenue near Park Avenue in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday night.

EMS rushed him to New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he remained in critical condition Friday.

There have been no arrests.
