Two groups of gunmen opened fire on a Bronx street before one group sped off in a Maserati in a wild scene captured on surveillance video, police said.
The shooting happened on June 15 just before 6 a.m. on Ogden Ave. between W. 171 St. and Merriam Ave. in Highbridge, cops said late Monday.
Three men got out of the Maserati — which was stopped next to a public school — and opened fire on another group of men, said police.
Surveillance video released by police shows a pop of smoke from gunfire just as the three men scramble back into the Maserati as the other group of men return fire.
With the driver’s side rear door still open, the Maserati — its rear lights shining — backed up onto Merriam Ave., the video shows.
Meanwhile, in the distance, someone in the other group of men takes cover behind a parked car and fires several shots at the fleeing four-door gray luxury car.
The Maserati sped off north on Merriam.
No one was injured in the shooting, authorities said.
Flying bullets smashed a window and struck the wall of an apartment bedroom, said police. They also struck a rear door of a nearby apartment building.
Anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All information is kept confidential.
