Start your engines: The Queen of all queens is doing Vegas!

Amid all the glitter, glamour and gorgeousness of RuPaul’s DragCon, a three-day convention of all-things drag being held at the Javits Center in New York this weekend, the original Supermodel of the World decided to surprise mere mortal folks with an announcement that left everyone stunned.

RuPaul is bringing all of her extravaganza eleganza — along some of the most memorable contestants on RuPaul’s “Drag Race” — for an eight-month residency at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! is an immersive, interactive thrill-ride for everyone who loves to laugh, dance and sing-along when a fabulous drag queen shakes her padded a-- on stage,” said RuPaul.

Directed by Mother Ru herself and choreographer superstar, and frequent Drag Race guest, Jamal Sims, the show will be “packed with outrageous comedy, eye-popping fashions, over-the-top singing and dancing, heartwarming moments, plus twists and turns that will leave the audience gagging for more,” according to the press release.

Seven queens will be featured in each show, which will encourage members’ participation, as if people were participating in a live episode of Rupaul’s world-famous reality competition.

The impossibly fabulous roster includes Aquaria, Asia O’Hara, Coco Montrese, Derrick Barry, Eureka O’Hara, India Ferrah, Kahanna Montrese, Kameron Michaels, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, Shannel and last season’s winner Yvie Oddly.

Presale tickets will be available starting Tuesday, Sept. 10, and general sale kicks off Friday, Sept. 13, but fans can sign up now to be on the list.

The “Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas” sign just took on a completely different meaning.
