Passenger killed, four hurt in high-speed Manhattan parkway crash

A man riding in the back seat of a Honda Accord died when the speeding car flipped over a median on the Henry Hudson Parkway early Wednesday, police said.

Four others, all men, were injured.

The black Honda Accord, driven by a 21-year-old, was zooming south on the parkway near W. 96th St. on the Upper West Side about 12:25 a.m. when it hit the median, overturned and landed in the northbound lanes, said cops.

A northbound black Toyota Avalon then crashed into the Honda, said police.

The Honda driver and his two surviving passengers, 25 and 32, were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside hospital in stable condition.

The 42-year-old driver of the Avalon was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Hospital in stable condition.

There were no immediate charges, but police are still investigating.
