Man wanted for attempted rape in Brooklyn attacks again about a mile away: cops

2019-09-20

A man wanted for sexually assaulting a woman in Brooklyn last month has struck again — this time, attacking a woman in the lobby of an apartment building about a mile away, police said.

Cops released surveillance photos and a video Friday of the sicko’s most recent assault on Sept. 16.

The 41-year-old victim was smoking a cigarette in the lobby of a building near 94th St. and Fourth Ave. in Bay Ridge around 1:20 a.m. when the suspect shoved her into a stairwell and began to assault her, cops said.

The victim was able to push the man away and he ran out of the building, police said.

On Aug. 31, the man walked up another 41-year-old woman near Battery Ave. and 86th St. in Dyker Heights around 1:20 a.m., put her in a chokehold and tried to sexually assault her but she was able to escape, cops said.

The victim declined medical treatment.

The suspect is in his mid-30s, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt and grey sweatpants, police said.
