‘Love & Hip Hop’ star who accused Remy Ma of assault now claims it was the rapper’s husband who attacked her

The reality TV star who accused rapper Remy Ma of assault recently claimed it was actually the singer’s husband who attacked her.

The attorney said Thursday that “Love & Hip Hop” cast member Brittney Taylor discredited herself with a recent Instagram post blasting Ma’s husband — a Brooklyn rapper known as Papoose — for hitting her and letting his wife take the blame. Taylor, 30, initially accused the Bronx-bred Ma, who also starred on the VH-1 reality show, of punching her at a benefit concert at Irving Plaza in April.

“Papoose is a B---h for [touching] me and he’s a B---h for making his wife take the [rap] for it!” Taylor wrote. “N---a really knocked me out bro! S--t making me sick to my soul.”

The attorney for Remy Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, said she handed screenshots of Taylor’s social media posts to a prosecutor on Thursday when Smith’s case was called for a brief appearance in Manhattan Criminal Court.

She said the post was a reflection of Taylor’s lack of credibility and that the DA should dismiss the case.

“This is exculpatory information in that the complaining witness in this case is saying that someone else assaulted her,” Smith’s lawyer Dawn Florio told reporters.

Smith, 39, who served six years in prison for shooting a woman in a street fight, appeared in court Thursday dressed in a form-hugging sky blue skirt suit and matching Jennifer Le pumps adorned with beads of large pearls.

A judge adjourned the case to Oct. 8.
