Hate spree suspect blames Eli Manning in bizarre rant to police: court papers

A shirtless hate-spewing creep blamed recently-benched Giants quarterback Eli Manning for his own race-based attacks on seven victims last month, court papers say.

The wacky rant was disclosed in documents filed Thursday after Todd Lyons’ arraignment in Manhattan Supreme Court, where a psychiatric fitness exam was ordered as he argued aloud in court to act as his own lawyer. The judge instead ordered a competency exam.

“This is Eli Manning’s fault. He is sending white crackers to beat me up," Lyons fantasized in a statement to police at the time of his arrest on Aug. 24. "I hate white cracker motherf-----g white crackers.”

The comments followed his claim that he “honest to god have never assaulted anyone” and that in at least one instance caught on video he “did it in my own self-defense.”

“I did overreact,” he later added. “It was unjustified.”

Lyons is responsible for seven Manhattan attacks from Aug. 9 to Aug. 16, prosecutors said.

“Get the f--k out you f-----g honky. You don’t belong here,” he allegedly told one victim whose nose he bloodied.
