A Florida man was arrested after breaking into a home, cooking breakfast and telling the resident to “go back to sleep” early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

Instead of heading back to bed, the resident threatened to call police, Fox affiliate WTVT reported.

At that point, Gavin Crim, 19, fled the Safety Harbor, Fla., residence, according to cops.

Crim had snuck into the home through a backdoor left unlocked and started cooking, and then eating, food in the west Florida house, according to police. The burglary occurred around 4 a.m.

Crim, who was reportedly found by cops hiding in the woods behind the home, was arrested on a burglary charge. An arrest report said he was under the influence of alcohol, according to WTVT.
