Florida man smashes car windows, claiming President Trump owes him a trillion dollars

It isn’t the first time someone has claimed Donald Trump owes him money, but there are a few holes in this guy’s story.

Police in the Florida panhandle arrested 30-year-old Justin James Wilson after he used rocks and a belt buckle to smash the windows of at least 20 cars in a Holiday Inn parking lot Sunday, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s office.

When cops caught up to Wilson, who was napping on a bench after his alleged vandalism spree, the homeless man reportedly said "Take me to jail. I did it because Donald Trump owes me one trillion dollars and these vehicles belong to the mafia.”

Cops on Okaloosa Island estimated the damage caused by Wilson amounts to $30,000.

It’s unclear why the alleged offender believed he was owed money by the president, whose real estate empire does not include Holiday Inn hotels.

Police say Wilson will face 14 counts of of felony criminal mischief along with several misdemeanor charges.

At least five dozen lawsuits have been filed against Trump by former workers, who have claimed Trump’s companies did not pay them for their labor, according to USA Today. Trump as a businessman has reportedly been targeted by “hundreds of liens, judgments, and other government filings” related to non-payments as well. There’s no indication by police that Trump owes money to Wilson.
