Father, son hospitalized; both seriously wounded in box cutter attack on Brooklyn street, cops say

A man and his teenage son were seriously wounded in a bloody attack by a man with a box cutter on a Brooklyn street early Sunday, cops said.

The 45-year-old dad and his 18-year-old son got into a quarrel with three men at 18th Ave. and E. Second St. in Kensington about 1:15 a.m., cops said.

One of the men whipped out a box cutter, stabbing the father in the arm and neck while slashing his son in the neck and stomach, according to police.

The two victims were taken to Maimonides Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

Cops took one of the suspects, Vinesh Marajh, 42, into custody and charged him with assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. The two others were still at large.
