The Democratic presidential candidates are descending on the Iowa Steak Fry this weekend — even the vegan guy.
Sen. Cory Booker, who is the first major presidential candidate to shun animal products, will be gobbling down non-meat options at the Des Moines event sponsored by the Democratic organization in Polk County, which includes the biggest city in the first-in-the-nation caucus state.
A record breaking crowd of more than 10,000 Democrats is expected at the fundraising event, which will be attended by most of the candidates in the crowded field.
