A drunk off-duty NYPD school safety agent was arrested in Brooklyn on Saturday night for kicking a cop who was trying to calm her down as she fought with her male companion.

Melinda Breland, 33, was arrested for assaulting an officer outside a pizza place on Broadway near Walton St. in Bushwick just before 10:30 p.m.

Two officers responding to a report of an assault found an intoxicated Breland fighting with her partner on the street, police said. As they tried to talk her down, she refused orders and delivered a boot to one of the officers.

The off-duty school safety agent was arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and disorderly conduct.

Breland’s arraignment was pending Sunday in Brooklyn Criminal Court.
