Demi Moore explains why she has carpeted bathroom

Call it Demi’s shag-hai surprise.

Despite her successful Hollywood career and oft-discussed marriages to stars Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher, when it comes to Demi Moore all everybody wants to talk about, seemingly, is her bathroom carpet.

After a photo of her plush bathroom with brown wall-to-wall carpeting became an Internet sensation, she pinned the “blame” on Willis.

“That originally was a Bruce Willis choice, not to put it off on him,” Moore said of the decision to carpet the commode room of their Idaho home during a Tuesday interview with Seth Meyers.

She then defended the choice, noting that the abode nestled in the mountains often gets downright chilly.

“But I appreciate the interest that has gone into all of my oddities,” laughed the 57-year-old beauty.

The fascination into Moore’s bathroom began after she posted several images of herself recording her podcast “Dirty Diana” while sitting on a couch. She also noted that she chose that room due to its favorable acoustics.

Previously, Moore had made the surprise admission that she, Willis and their three kids had been hunkering down at the home during the COVID-19 outbreak.

The couple was married for nearly 13 years until their 2000 divorce. Their union produced three daughters: Tallulah, Scout and Rumer, who recently appeared in “Once Upon a Time . . . in Hollywood.”

In addition to “Dirty Diana,” Moore appears in the Peacock streaming drama “Brave New World.”
