There’s a superstar new puppy in town.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announced on Instagram that she has adopted a puppy — and vowed to bring it to Congress.
The little guy is a 4-month-old French bulldog.
He doesn’t have a name yet although AOC is taking suggestions. She wants “something Star Trek related or Queens/Bronx/NYC social good related.”
The pooch is facing a busy schedule as the canine sidekick for the lefty queen of political social media.
“Ideally we want to work to the point where he can enjoy town halls, be an Amtrak pup, come to the office, etc.,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter.
Of course, pups will be pups.
“But first, naps,” the lawmaker added with a photo of the dog taking a snooze.
Yes! ?? the goal is to train him to be a community pup. Ideally we want to work to the point where he can enjoy town halls, be an Amtrak pup, come to the office, etc.
