The first Swedish lawyer who represented A$AP Rocky in his assault case this summer was shot outside his apartment building Friday.
Henrik Olsson Lilja called authorities after he was shot “multiple” times and hit in the head and chest, according to Swedish outlet Expressen, which described Lilja’s condition as “serious but stable.”
TMZ reported the attack was a domestic dispute involving a woman “close to” the lawyer and was not linked to his widely publicized representation of the Harlem-born rapper.
Expressen reports the woman who was arrested used to also be a lawyer and/or judge and was previously convicted of an unspecified crime and banned from contacting Lilja has been arrested.
A timeline of A$AP Rocky's assault trial in Sweden
The outlet floated authorities’ “chief theory” that the shooting was an isolated incident.
A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, was found guilty in August of an assault that took place in Stockholm on June 30. After spending weeks in Swedish custody, he returned stateside in August after receiving no jail time in his sentence.
